Pierini Glass Art Center has started to address a universe related to sculpture, often involving the cold-working of the glass, taking its distances from functional objects.
This new approach led to different series of abstract work, ima-gined as polyptychs where light practices its scales, flickers on the surface of glass like it would on a lake, sinks in the velvet of the sand-blasted material, sparkles on the caught metal bubbles, reflects and falls down hand-carved hollows.
Our artworks are full of life and we hope they can lead to a crush and trigger intense emotions.
